Setas is a project run by Coin Street Community Builders and funded by the Small Business Service, Social Enterprise Partnership, Esmee Fairbairn and Equal. The brief was to develop a website that would provide listings of training courses, publications, support services and consultancy services aimed at the Social Enterprise Sector and also allow users to rate the services of these providers and their services. Future First developed a website that enables these providers to set up an account on the website and upload their services that go live once verified by coin Street. Users who have used these providers can then go to the website and enter a rating on different criteria to give other social enterprises an overall view of user recommendations to allow them to make an informed decision prior to engaging with them. Coin Streets role is simply to verify new listings added to maintain integrity of content with the aim of improving the service provided to the social enterprise sector through the ratings system. The website has been a complete success and provides a comprehensive database of quality services aimed at the social enterprise sector.
